ASML, the largest supplier for photolithography systems in the semiconductor industry, provides machines to chipmakers to enable mass production of chips on silicon wafers. ASML’s core strength is the lithography technology itself, while the building of the chipmakers is merely an assembly of parts provided by suppliers.
Within the ASML product portfolio, YieldStar is a market leading optical metrology tool used to measure overlay of developed or etched lithography patterns. The overlay information is used by ASML's customers to control the yield of their manufacturing processes.
One of the teams in the Yield Star Production Control group is responsible for enabling easier and faster introduction of measurement data by software application teams that support system performance and quality.
The purpose of this internship is to create a conversational Log Tool using Artificial Intelligence and extend reporting logs to identify the issues (Error/warning) observed during machine Production run. These files are mainly analyzed by CS and D&E engineers. Your main goal will be to identify error logs so that root cause analysis can become easier and faster. You will collaborate with a team of architects and engineers working in the Production control department.

This is a final-year bachelor or a master apprentice/graduation internship for a minimum of 6 months, for 4 to 5 days per week (at least 3 days onsite). The start date of this internship is September 2025.

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
