Meet your team
You will become a member of a product development scrum team working on the open-source solution Kyma. You will support your colleagues in the implementation of tasks from the team backlog. You will participate in team meetings, such as planning, retrospective, or daily stand-ups. As a student, you will work flexible hours, but we count on you to work 20 hours per week.
Kyma (https://kyma-project.io) is a strategic element of SAP Business Technology Platform. The essence of Kyma is to enrich Kubernetes with a set of features that allow users to quickly start developing cloud-native applications using the power of Kubernetes and combine them with both the cloud-native world of microservices and legacy monolithic systems in an opinionated way.
You will have an opportunity to use software development automation tools professionally and develop services that enable internal Kyma development teams to build CI/CD systems. With your team, you will develop and operate a cloud application that integrates security scanners.
You will also gain experience in developing and operating infrastructure as code (IaC). We offer you access to SAP's training resources and the daily support of your teammates.
