Position Description:

Supports technical platforms to deliver critical client implementations by leveraging Oracle PL/SQL development tools such as Packages, Procedures, Functions, Triggers, Hints, and data migration scripts. Executes unit tests, code review, and impact analysis of technical modules using scripting languages. Triages application issues and identifies appropriate remediation steps using version control tools including Bitbucket and SourceTree. Collaborates with tests and client teams to ensure successful completion of technical projects using Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Atlassian Confluence, and Jira. Implements process improvements within Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) environments such as Agile. Provides business solutions by developing complex or multiple software applications.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develops original and creative technical solutions to on-going development efforts.
  • Designs applications or subsystems on major projects and for/in multiple platforms.
  • Develops applications for multiple projects supporting several divisional initiatives.
  • Supports and performs all phases of testing leading to implementation.
  • Assists in the planning and conducting of user acceptance testing.
  • Develops comprehensive documentation for multiple applications supporting several corporate initiatives.
  • Responsible for post-installation testing of any problems.
  • Establishes project plans for projects of moderate scope.
  • Works on complex assignments and often multiple phases of a project.
  • Performs independent and complex technical and functional analysis for multiple projects supporting several initiatives.

Education and Experience:

No degree and five (5) years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer/Developer (or closely related occupation) implementing an Oracle Advanced Receivables module for healthcare applications within a financial services environment.

Or, alternatively, Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and three (3) years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer/Developer (or closely related occupation) implementing an Oracle Advanced Receivables module for healthcare applications within a financial services environment.

Or, alternatively, Master’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and one (1) year of experience as a Senior Software Engineer/Developer (or closely related occupation) implementing an Oracle Advanced Receivables module for healthcare applications within a financial environment.

Skills and Knowledge:

Candidate must also possess:

  • Demonstrated Expertise (“DE”) designing, implementing, and enhancing healthcare applications based on Oracle Advanced Benefits and Oracle Advanced Receivables modules using PL/SQL, Java J2EE, and UNIX; documenting and visualizing integration systems in Atlassian JIRA; and deploying applications using Jenkins.
  • DE developing healthcare applications using Oracle 10g/9i/6i Forms and Reports builder; performing ERP solutions related to health and welfare to implement health care reforms for integrated systems using Oracle Human Resource Management System; building master-detail blocks, forms triggers, system variables, multiple form applications, menu, alerts and LOVs using Oracle.
  • DE implementing RICE Oracle reports, forms, interfaces, conversions, extension components, workflows, lookups, alerts, and advanced frameworks, using Oracle and XML Publisher reports; and designing and developing end-user business reports using OBIEE and BI Publisher.
  • DE defining, developing, implementing, and supporting solutions for data loading into Oracle HCM Cloud using HCM Data Loader Tool (including the Workforce structure data, Worker data, Work relationships data, and Salary information components), HCM extracts, HCM data loader (HDL) and OTBI Report BIP Reports in Oracle Fusion HCM.
