Position Description:
Provides data conversion solutions by developing conversion software applications and routines using Statistical Analysis System (SAS), Linux, and Database 2 (DB2). Implements SAS programs to analyze software and related data. Leverages data conversion development methodologies and executes processes to troubleshoot user testing and problem resolution. Provides business solutions by developing complex or multiple software applications. Conducts studies to improve project development procedures and strategies. Contributes to on-time and on-budget project goals.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and three (3) years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer/Developer (or closely related occupation) performing application design, development, and support using Base SAS, SAS Macros, and SAS SQL across Linux Mainframe platforms.
Or, alternatively, Master’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and one (1) year of experience as a Senior Software Engineer/Developer (or closely related occupation) performing application design, development, and support using Base SAS, SAS Macros, and SAS SQL across Linux Mainframe platforms.
