Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Payroll & Compensation Analyst to support core HR functions, particularly in payroll operations, compensation program oversight, and HRIS management. This role serves as a vital resource within the HR department, acting as a subject matter expert on compensation structures and payroll compliance. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical capabilities, a process improvement mindset, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights. This position collaborates cross-functionally with HR, Finance, and Legal teams to ensure consistency, accuracy, and alignment across key HR practices.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience, with emphasis on payroll and compensation.
  • Proven expertise with HRIS platforms—experience with Paylocity and UKG/Kronos is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage payroll processing, compensation cycles, and HR data reporting.
  • Strong background in compensation strategy, pay equity, and job evaluation.
  • Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, vlookups/xlookups, and data modeling.
  • Solid understanding of employment laws, wage and hour compliance, and tax regulations.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills; ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to liaise across all organizational levels.
  • High degree of discretion when handling confidential and sensitive information.
  • Comfortable working with complex data sets and making sound, data-driven recommendations.

Compensation: $80,000 - $98,000

Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
