Job Description Summary:
The Program Manager 2 is responsible for program capture, development, planning and execution. The Program Manager responsibilities' include leading program execution of full lifecycle projects; identifying, capturing, and growing new business; managing customer engagement; and leading transition of Draper’s innovative technologies into solutions for government or commercial sponsors. Manages and ensures the timely completion of specific, defined multi discipline programs or projects of greater than average complexity and scope. This program develops, tests, and delivers the world’s most accurate and reliable guidance, navigation & control (GN&C) systems to enable credible, survivable, and resilient port-to-target solutions to support the US Navy. This Program Manager position will be responsible for design and development of Mission Avionics Subsystems in support of the next generation guidance system for the US Navy Strategic Systems SLBM LE2 program. The program manager will be responsible for the development and implementation of program plans, schedules, and budget for the Avionics area, as well as monitoring program performance and execution to those plans, including identifying and addressing risks and issues as needed.

Seeking significant technical expertise in the architecture and design of electronics and/or safety-critical systems including for example real time processing, power distribution, clock and timing distribution, and communications.
Experience architecting, designing, and testing hardware that operates in hostile radiation environments.
