Love capital equipment? So do we. Let’s bring innovation to the OR – together.

This is not just a sales role. This is about being a trusted partner to clinicians, connecting people in the OR, and helping hospitals deliver better urology outcomes with laser systems that change lives. If you're driven by meaningful conversations, high-end technology, and long-term relationships – this could be your next step.

At Boston Scientific, we develop cutting-edge capital equipment for minimally invasive urology therapies. Now, we’re looking for a strategic Account Manager to grow and shape our laser therapy business in one of our most dynamic German regions. You’ll work closely with head physicians, nurses, and procurement teams, while collaborating cross-functionally with marketing, business development, and contracting teams.

You own your territory. You manage your schedule. You drive your results.

What you'll be doing

Your role is a mix of commercial strategy, clinical engagement, and capital equipment expertise. You'll work closely with physicians, nurses, purchasing departments, and internal teams to drive adoption of our urology solutions.

Here’s what your day-to-day might involve:

  • Own and grow the capital equipment business for urology (focus: laser systems) in your region.
  • Market mapping & Drive market development and strategic expansion across key hospitals.
  • Lead contract and pricing negotiations with purchasing teams.
  • Build strong, trust-based relationships with surgeons, heads of departments, and OR teams.
  • Deliver tailored sales strategies and customer-focused solutions.
  • Organize and facilitate product demos, trainings, and workshops in the OR.
  • Represent Boston Scientific at relevant congresses, symposia, and exhibitions.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Account Managers, Marketing, Commercial Contracting, and Business Development to ensure aligned execution.

Day in the life

A typical day for this Account Manager might begin with a morning visit to a key hospital partner to support an in-theatre product demo or follow-up on a previous installation. The afternoon could include a strategy session with the marketing team to align on messaging for an upcoming urology conference, followed by a contract negotiation meeting with a hospital procurement lead. The day might end with CRM updates and prep for a product training scheduled the next morning. Throughout the day, they stay connected with cross-functional colleagues, from business development to clinical support, ensuring a cohesive and effective customer approach. Travel between cities in their territory is frequent, with flexibility built into the schedule.

What you bring

This is a strategic role for which a solid foundation in capital equipment sales is a must. We’re looking for someone who’s confident in the OR, understands hospital sales cycles, and knows how to bring people together around shared goals.

We think you’ll thrive if you bring the following:

  • A solid foundation in capital equipment sales, ideally in MedTech or hospital-based healthcare.
  • A degree in Biomedical Engineering, Business, or a related field – or equivalent commercial training with technical affinity.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills—you’re as comfortable talking to a head of urology as you are to a hospital buyer.
  • A team player mindset and natural ability to connect people across functions.
  • Fluent German and English, written and spoken.
  • Based in the sales region (e.g., Dortmund, Cologne, Essen, Düsseldorf, Bonn, Münster, Frankfurt) with a willingness to travel regularly within your rayon.

What we offer you

At Boston Scientific, we offer more than just a job. You'll find purpose, ownership, and the chance to grow in a collaborative, high-performing environment.
