Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Marketing Manager specializing in Training and Development to join our dynamic B2B marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing training programs that enhance the skills and capabilities of our global marketing teams. Your focus will be on developing training strategies that improve marketing performance, optimize campaign delivery, and promote best practices across the marketing function. This role is ideal for someone passionate about fostering a culture of continuous learning and driving measurable improvements in marketing effectiveness.

Essential Functions

  • Training Program Development
    • Design, create, and implement comprehensive training programs that align with the strategic goals of the marketing department. Tailor content to different learning styles and levels of expertise.
    • Develop training materials, including presentations, guides, and online resources, to help the marketing team stay updated on industry best practices, tools, and techniques.
    • Oversee the onboarding process for new marketing hires, ensuring they receive the necessary training and resources to succeed in their roles. Develop ongoing development plans to promote professional growth.
  • Skills Assessment
    • Regularly assess the training needs of the marketing team and develop performance metrics. Create targeted learning initiatives based on these assessments to bridge any skill gaps.
    • Measure and analyze the impact of training programs on team performance, campaign outcomes, and other KPIs. Use this data to refine and improve future training initiatives.
    • Work closely with other departments, such as sales, product, and customer service, to ensure that marketing training supports overall business objectives and enhances cross-functional collaboration.
  • Continuous Learning
    • Stay up to date on emerging trends, tools, and technologies in B2B marketing and incorporate them into training programs. Act as a subject matter expert on the latest marketing techniques.
    • Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the marketing department, encouraging employees to pursue professional development opportunities and certifications.
  • Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • Master’s or doctorate degree is a plus
  • Proven experience in B2B marketing, with a focus on successfully deploying Market Based Management strategies (3+ years preferred).
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles, strategies, and tools within a B2B environment.
  • Experience with instructional design and adult learning methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and motivate team members at all levels.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to assess program effectiveness and implement improvements.
  • Self-motivated, with a passion for learning and helping others develop.
  • Proven ability to build, develop, and mentor cross functional teams, fostering collaboration to achieve organizational goals.
