The Audio Test Engineer is responsible for evaluating the acoustic and electrical performance of a broad range of professional and consumer audio products, including loudspeakers, amplifiers, televisions, STBs, soundbars, laptops, mobile devices, and other audio source equipment. This role requires strong analytical skills to interpret test data, identify and resolve measurement discrepancies, and ensure precise tuning of audio products. The engineer will also be responsible for installing and validating calibration settings to ensure products meet THX performance standards and industry specifications.

Education & Experience
BA/BS degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
Preferred Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents. Ability to respond effectively all types of inquiries. Ability to write speeches and articles using original or innovative techniques or style. Ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on controversial or complex topics to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written exchanges in Chinese and English among domestic and international clients and colleagues.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several variables in unusual situations. Ability to use effective deductive reasoning is essential.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint or their analogs; Dropbox, OneDrive and other file-sharing utilities; common enterprise solutions supporting procurement/financial processes.
