Account Manager - Your future position?

Our comprehensive knowledge of local flavours, global footprint and strategic insights ensure close partnerships with our customers. With a customized approach to product creation, recent acquisitions, and the launch of our 2025 strategy, Givaudan's Flavours-Taste & Wellbeing (T&W) business is a powerhouse of knowledge, innovation, and creativity equipped to surprise customers and consumers with fresh, unique ideas and solutions. Givaudan creates lasting flavour and taste experiences that touch emotions across segments including beverages, sweet goods, savoury and snacks, and food service.

You'll report to the Commercial Manager for Peru/Ecuador, and will be based in San Isidro Lima, Peru; working four days onsite and one from home a week.

In this exciting role you will:

  • Identify business opportunities, define and develop accounts strategies and action plan.
  • Work closely with development and marketing teams, anticipating client needs and briefings.
  • Act as leader for all projects under your responsibility and define accurate pricing and margin parameters for them.
  • Develop successful working relationship at all levels of client organization.
  • Ensure high level of service and make Givaudan the partner of choice in clients under your responsibility.
  • Conduct commercial negotiations and demand follow-ups.
  • Monitor budget achievement, sales and profitability versus plan.
  • Work close to Customer Service on providing inputs for sales forecasting

Your professional profile includes:

  • University degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Food Engineering or other related fields.
  • At least 7 years' successful sales, business development or customer relationship experience in food, chemical or related industries, with knowledge of B2B environment.
  • Fluent English.
  • Determination to achieve with a commitment to Ethics and Compliance.
  • Sound ability to create new business by identifying unmet customer needs.
  • Apply strategic planning, budgeting and forecasting skills.
  • Experience accomplishing all account management steps in the brief handling process; understand how to manage scale-ups.
  • Project Management skills.
  • Experience managing activities remotely.
