We are currently hiring for an exciting opportunity as a Working Student (m/f/d) - CATIA Concept Engineering to join our team.

We are a team of experts in parametric modeling with CONCEPT STRUCTURE ENGINEERING, an application from the Dassault Systèmes CATIA brand. During the concept phase we support our clients' calculation teams in the early stages of creating, analyzing and further developing geometric models e. g. for vehicle body structures. We are responsible for preparing, testing, and executing the FE simulations for various disciplines such as statics, dynamics, crash, and acoustics. In close cooperation with Dassault Systèmes SIMULIA brand we also integrate them into complex calculation and optimization processes.

Role Description & Responsibilities

• You support the creation and modification of parametric geometry structures in CONCEPT STRUCTURE ENGINEERING on the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform related to customer projects
• You develop processes for variant studies and optimization
• You define and execute FE simulations for statics, dynamics and crash
• You develop FE process scripts (Perl, Python)
• You evaluate analysis results
• You support the creation of best practice, tips and documentation

Qualifications

• You are currently studying in the field of automotive technology, engineering, applied mathematics or computer science
• You have a basic understanding of CAD tools and knowledge of modeling, simulation and programming
• You have basic knowledge of FE programs such as ABAQUS, Nastran, etc.
• You have programming experience in Perl, Python or similar
• You enjoy working independently and purposefully
• You are characterized by your strong communication skills and your analytical thinking skills
• You are creative, open and curious
• You love challenges, are a team player and are fluent in German and English
