Join the EAME Distribution Team as a Marketing Sales and Operations Representative, where you will be advising on marketing and sales initiatives and dealer/customer related strategies, systems and processes. The key role of this assignment is applying previous field experience and knowledge of process improvement methodologies to improve dealer marketing and sales capabilities and overall customer experience. In this role you will be the liaison among dealers, customers, and other Caterpillar stakeholders. You will be accountable to contribute to the identification, analysis and resolution of marketing and sales distribution needs and challenges that are less tactical and more strategic in nature in assigned territories. What you will do:

  • Assisting with inquiries and resolving problems related to business plan execution, operational improvement, and the successful achievement of targets.
  • Advising on existing and potential customer experiences issues and improvement measures.
  • Collaborate with dealers to enhance marketing and sales capabilities, supporting the overall business development process by optimizing CRM improvements and sales funnel management effectively.
  • Govern dealer execution of the programs that increase sales and improve customer experience.

Skills you will have:

Customer Focus: Knowledge of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and ability to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions.

Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.

Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.

Negotiating: Knowledge of successful negotiation concepts and techniques; ability to negotiate successfully across the organization and with external vendors and clients in a constructive and collaborative manner.

Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.

Relationship Management: Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.

Project Management: Knowledge of effective project management strategies and tactics; ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control projects, ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources to achieve project objectives.

Value Selling: Knowledge of the principles and practices for selling products, technology, and services; ability to provide overall product/service 'value' and to differentiate support offerings that address clearly understood customer needs.

Qualifications / Experience:

  • A completed university or college degree in Engineering, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience in managing complex and large-scale projects.
  • Proven experience in sales and marketing, project management, and stakeholder management in a customer-focused environment is beneficial.
  • Must be proficient or fluent in English.

Top candidates will also have:

  • Strong commercial and influencing capabilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience in a similar position within industry is a plus.
