Position: Accounting Manager/Controller Consultant (Temporary)

Location: Corona, CA

Employment Type: Contract (3 months, through mid-January at minimum)

Schedule: 100% in-office, Monday-Friday

Overview: We are seeking a skilled Accounting Manager/Controller Consultant to join our client in Corona, CA, on a temporary basis. This role may extend to a strong Senior Accountant as well. The successful candidate will take over the daily responsibilities of the Controller, who is currently assigned to a special project. This includes handling reconciliation, managing and processing month-end close, and generating financial statements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform day-to-day accounting operations and manage month-end close processes.
• Reconcile accounts and generate financial statements.
• Collaborate with the accounting team, which includes a Controller, Staff Accountant, and AP, AR, and Payroll specialists.

Qualifications:

• Strong general accounting knowledge and experience with reconciliation and financial statement generation.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (experience with ECMS is a plus but not required).
• Construction industry experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• College degree (does not have to be in accounting) is preferred.
• Good attitude and ability to work independently.
