Job Title: AP Manager Consultant (Hybrid)

Location: Brea, CA

Contract Type: Consulting Engagement (Hybrid Schedule: On-site Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)

Urgent Need: Immediate start required to support Q4 operations.

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced AP Manager Consultant to join our client on a consulting basis. This role is critical to ensure smooth operations through Q4 as we transition due to an employee departure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and management, with a proven ability to lead and integrate into a tight-knit team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a team of 8 accounting professionals.
• Oversee and participate in daily accounting operations (60% management, 40% hands-on).
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of accounts payable.
• Utilize SAP for accounting processes; experience with VIM (Vendor Invoice Management) is a plus.
• Support and oversee 1099 audits, working with the dedicated audit team.
• Leverage AI technology to enhance accounting processes and efficiencies.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a management role.
• Proficiency in SAP is mandatory.
• Experience with VIM (Vendor Invoice Management) is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of 1099 audits.
• Ability to quickly earn respect and integrate into a well-established, cohesive team.
• Innovative mindset with a willingness to adopt and implement AI technology in accounting.
