Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced AP Manager Consultant to join our client on a consulting basis. This role is critical to ensure smooth operations through Q4 as we transition due to an employee departure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and management, with a proven ability to lead and integrate into a tight-knit team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of 8 accounting professionals.
- Oversee and participate in daily accounting operations (60% management, 40% hands-on).
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of accounts payable.
- Utilize SAP for accounting processes; experience with VIM (Vendor Invoice Management) is a plus.
- Support and oversee 1099 audits, working with the dedicated audit team.
- Leverage AI technology to enhance accounting processes and efficiencies.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a management role.
- Proficiency in SAP is mandatory.
- Experience with VIM (Vendor Invoice Management) is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of 1099 audits.
- Ability to quickly earn respect and integrate into a well-established, cohesive team.
