Position: Test tool developer Trainee
Duration: Full-time 8h/day, with the possibility to extend

Currently a candidate for a Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field;

Nokia’s CMM R&D test team, ensures that the Cloud based AMF, the core element of 5G networks, is delivered with high quality to our customers, based on current and future cloudification principles and customer requirements.
As a member of Nokia CMM team, you will develop a test tool for new features based on telecom specifications and customer requirements for the CMM product, the core element of Mobile Networks.
Cooperation with other technical experts will be part of your everyday work to achieve the committed objectives, leading the evolution to 5G networks that is required by customers worldwide.
HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
- Develop and enhance internal test tools to support project and product validation
- Implement improvements and optimizations to existing test tool functionality
- Collaborate closely with technical experts to meet project goals and deliverables
- Actively participate in technical meetings alongside senior engineers
- Clearly and efficiently communicate task progress, challenges, and potential risks
KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Must have:
- Active enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Computer Science, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related field
- Solid academic background in Telecommunications/Networking, Operating Systems, and Signal Transmission
- Familiarity with Linux application development and strong proficiency in programming and scripting languages (e.g., C/C++)
- Self-motivated, with the ability to thrive in a multicultural and collaborative environment
Nice to have:
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, paired with a proactive, can-do attitude
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Greek and English
- Proven troubleshooting capabilities and a keen attention to detail
