What You Will Do

  • Develop new equipment/process to support new programs / new process launch on time.
  • Initiate new equipment/line technical specification for quotation.
  • Work with sourcing team to develop/evaluate cost and technology competitive suppliers.
  • Co-design & develop new equipment/line with suppliers to support manufacturing plants become world class speaker manufacturers.
  • Cooperate with suppliers on new equipment/line on-site debug, installation, buy-off, training and handover to global plants.
  • Standardize new equipment/line design to reduce equipment/line cost and lead-time.
  • Support/lead equipment/line transfer from plant to plant.
  • Support plant to optimize & upgrade existing equipment/line to improve production efficiency.

What You Need to Be Successful

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
  • Fluent English communication.
  • >10 years’ experience on equipment development in automotive industry
  • Knowledge in various sensors, electrical and pneumatic components
  • Experience in new equipment/line design & development, debug, installation and buyoff.
  • Knowledge on EHS, ergonomic.
  • Machine Cmk capability analysis experience required.
  • Knowledge of quick changeover methods and practices.
  • Knowledge of PLC, PC machine control, Epson Robot programming
