About The Team

The Service platform team focuses on providing internal service management across various business lines within the company. The primary objective is to hide differences and the complexity of infrastructure between public and private cloud platform for other developers. The team ensures stable, observable release management capabilities, elastic scaling, and traffic governance, especially in microservices and message consumption-managed scenarios. Additionally, the team continuously explores expanding the PaaS & Serverless ecosystem and optimizing business costs.

What you will be doing:

• Responsible for the development and performance optimisation of products (PaaS & FaaS) on the Service platform;
• Involve in platform-related infrastructure development;
• Responsible for the design of ByteDance's business architecture and the construction of an efficient online and offline service hosting platform;
• Provide solutions for internal product lines and connect to the business framework;

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field with at least 4 years of relevant experience;
• A proficient software developer skilled in at least one general purpose programming language, such as C/C++/Go/Python;
• Deep understanding of OS (Linux, windows), Network (TCP/IP, HTTP, etc), with good exposure to network, storage, as well as computer architecture;
• In-depth understanding of the implementation principles surrounding distributed systems;
• Have experience in one or more products in infrastructure, such as monitoring systems, logging systems, service mesh, storage, etc.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in PaaS platform, service management, release system;
• Experience in serverless like AWS Lambda, Aliyun function compute;
• Familiar with cloud native framework with experience in Kubernetes, docker and cloud native ecosystems;
