Job Description

Overview: 

We are seeking a highly motivated and responsible Wonderful Scholar for a full-time 8-week summer internship. In this position, you will gain hands-on experience under the guidance of the Learning & Organizational Development Specialist.

This position will be based onsite (not remote) at Wonderful Citrus located in Delano, CA. This schedule for this internship is 40 hours per week Monday-Friday. Days of the week and work hours may change due to business needs. 

Here’s what you’ll do: 

• Manage day-to-day logistics of development programs (including scheduling, meals, registration, and program communication)
• Directly support the L&OD Specialist with program content updates and creation of new development programs 
• Collect feedback and conduct evaluations to suggest improvements and innovation to existing programs 
• Conduct needs assessment analyses and sort quantitative and qualitative data to provide informed suggestions for employee development programs and resources 
• Produce virtual programming through Microsoft Teams or Zoom, and provide facilitation support, as needed 

Qualifications

Here’s what you’ll bring to the table: 

• Must be a current Wonderful Scholar 
• Must upload a resume, professional reference, and cover letter with your application 
• High School Diploma/General Education Diploma and currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Communications, Education, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Psychology, or related
• Must be 18 years of age or older 
• Organized with a strong attention to detail 
• Excellent interpersonal skills 
• Facilitation experience is a plus, but not required 
• Applies feedback and is curious to learn with and from others 
• Familiarity with Microsoft Teams and Zoom to support live online training sessions 
• Minimum of beginner proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
• Self-directed and able to work autonomously 
• Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas 

Pay Rate: $18.50 per hour.
