SUMMARY

By guiding Kollmorgen AGV customers to become experts in utilization of our products and by that securing our business and future. An application engineer is responsible for leading and managing requirement breakdown, designing, implementation and testing applications, in accordance with the projects adopted standards, for integration into larger systems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Programming, emulation, simulation, debugging and startup of AGV system.
• Technical customer support.
• Technical Sales support.
• Internal and external technical training
• Internal Technical Support activities
• Documentation of application projects
• Work with Operations and Engineering to solve quality problems related to application
• Includes traveling

Qualifications

• Bachelor or above in Automation/Mechatronics/related field
• 5 years or above relevant experience of working with automation
• Experience of working in customer related projects
• Experience from programming in IEC 61131 (PLC application Programming)
• Experience of electrical design
• Experience of field bus (CAN, CANOpen, etc.)
• Computer OS and Network knowledge (TCP/IP, WLAN, etc.).
• Knowledge in Office (word, excel, ppt, etc.)
• Language skills (English CET4 or above, fluent in both spoken and written)
• Be able to travel and work on customer site.
• Competency in motion control/machine vision is a plus.
• Competency in object-oriented programming (C#, Python, etc.) is a plus.
