Your Role

Personal Work Space (PWS) and gaming are major divisions of Logitech, consisting of the tech devices and apps that help people be at their creative and productive best in their workspace, or best performance in gaming.

You will be in the rapidly growing China for China(C4C) team in PWS and Gaming, and play a role in executing a new product in a range of segments, including human-interface devices, personal working place solutions, human-computer interaction, and other emerging technologies for China users. 

You will be based in our Suzhou office, and report to the Mechanical Engineering Sr. Manager.

As a key player in C4C organization, 

• You lead the C4C mechanical engineering team to develop Mice, Keyboard and other products for the Chinese market;
• Collaborate in an international organization to demonstrate the core value of the worldwide mechanical engineering team with a mutual-trust culture build-in.
• You are the game-changer to involve a deeply organizational strategic plan, and drive strategic execution; 
• You are accountable for developing creative and innovative talents and boosting organizational capability continuously.

• Lead the C4C ME team to execute new products through visioning, ID and feasibility study, mechanical design, risk analysis, validation, and sustaining to ensure project goal, cost, and schedule are met, even exceeded.
• Be accountable for the performance and results of a team within their own discipline or function. Also provides coaching, performance feedback, and reviews to employees. 
• Lead the C4C ME team for mechanical engineering technology research and development: Dig out the internal and external customers’ needs, create technology roadmap, communicate with stakeholders, get to alignment, manage technology projects, and coach Mechanical Engineers on technology exploration. 
• Communication and coordination with internal and external stakeholders to develop and refine the product mechanical design and development process covering from defining product engineering specifications, design, prototyping, and qualification till mass production.
• Partner and collaborate with other functions worldwide to achieve seamless product development.

Key Qualifications

For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and behaviors to our team:

• Minimum 3 years as manager of a mechanical engineering team.
• Minimum 7 years experience with architecting mechanical parts for a consumer electronics product - including making sure that any developments include a proper development and qualification pipeline.
• Experience with a platform approach to hardware development, be able to think and articulate how they would go about it or do it.
• Experience in anticipating risks in the program and identifying areas to work on to reduce risk.
• Experience managing projects delivered by external outsourced teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Keep yourself up-to-date on the latest industry trends, and are able to propose enhancements to existing solutions.

• Experienced in developing mechanical parts for high-volume consumer electronics products.
• Experienced leading projects, strong project management skills a plus. 
• Excellent communication in English both oral and written.
• Master skilled in problem-solving (8D, PDCA, DMICA ) and risk assessment (FMEA).
• Geometrical tolerance knowledge.
• Tolerance analysis and statistical analysis knowledge. 
• Crisis management(Technical issue in the product). 
• Plus if capable in CAD - Creo
• Plus if a capable in CAE - Asys 

Education

Bachelor or Master in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent.
