Position: Cloud Automation Test Trainee

Duration: Full-time 8h/day, with the possibility to extend

Nokia’s CMM R&D test team, ensures that the Cloud based AMF, the core element of 5G networks, is delivered with high quality to our customers, based on current and future cloudification principles and customer requirements.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

As part of our team, you will:

  • Design, implement, and execute automation test cases for NOKIA’s SGSN/MME/AMF product (CMM), ensuring the delivery of high-quality product releases.
  • Collaborate with technical experts to achieve our committed objectives.
  • Participate in technical meetings with senior engineers to contribute to decision-making on the next steps.
  • Monitor existing automated test cases and enhance them as needed.

KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Must have:

You’re an undergraduate student in Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, IT, or a related field.

You have experience with Python, Bash scripting, and data/log analysis.

You’re an analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills and a can-do attitude.

You have excellent communication skills (Greek and English) and enjoy working in diverse, multinational teams.

You thrive in an inclusive environment with high ethical standards.

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of Linux OS (RedHat, Ubuntu).
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Experience with RedHat OpenShift (installation, configuration, admin, deployment, troubleshooting).
  • Exposure to public cloud virtualization technologies (VMware, AWS, Google Anthos).
  • Experience with Continuous Integration/Delivery frameworks like Jenkins.
