As a Design/Development Engineer within our Production Engineering team, you will start your day with a team meeting where you'll discuss the latest project developments and set goals for the day. You might engage in developing sophisticated tooling concepts, collaborating with cross-functional teams to refine prototypes, or validating technical solutions to ensure compliance with industry standards. Your work directly impacts our mission to decarbonise the industrial sector by improving the efficiency and sustainability of our products. How You’ll Make an Impact

• Develop a detailed understanding of our products and build processes to meet both internal and external customer needs.
• Collaborate extensively across teams to evolve design concepts into functional prototypes.
• Build and validate technical solutions, ensuring compliance with specifications and regulations.
• Own the creation of detailed design documentation, including models, drawings, and calculations.
• Support the planning and execution of prototype and qualification testing programs.
• Refine designs for efficient and cost-effective production in collaboration with manufacturing teams.

What You Bring

• Expertise in design software (2D & 3D CAD) and file management tools (e.g. Teamcenter).
• Strong understanding of Engineering Principles and Product Testing.
• Proven experience in completing intricate development projects.
• In-depth knowledge of design, testing, and optimisation processes and tools.
• Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Honors degree or equivalent experience.
• Effective leadership, teamwork, and decision-making skills.
