Job Description

Your contribution to something big:

We are looking for an Facilities and Energy Management Engineer (f/m/div.) to support the optimization of energy consumption processes, ensuring compliance with legal regulations and ISO 50001 standards. This role involves data-driven energy management, process improvement, and collaboration with a dedicated team within an industrial environment.

  • Energy Consumption Monitoring & Compliance: Assist in overseeing energy usage in the industrial area, analyzing invoices and energy indicators, and ensuring compliance with legal requirements for high-energy consumers.
  • ISO 50001 Support: Contribute to the implementation and continuous improvement of energy management systems, supporting the team in meeting ISO 50001 requirements.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Utilize Power BI and other tools to automate energy consumption monitoring, develop dashboards, and analyze data for decision-making and efficiency improvements.
  • Energy Efficiency & IoT Solutions: Support the implementation of IoT-based energy management solutions for equipment and infrastructure, contributing to energy reduction plans and performance optimization.
  • Audits & Verification Processes: Assist in preparing and executing annual energy audits, measurement and verification processes, and exploring new technologies and strategies to enhance energy efficiency.

Qualifications

What distinguishes you:

Education: Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

Experience: Experience in energy efficiency and management.

Know-How:

  • Strong knowledge of energy efficiency, energy management, and industrial communication systems (Modbus, Bacnet, M-Bus);
  • Familiarity with mechanical, HVAC and electrical;
  • Experience in Building Technical Management, Automation, and Energy Monitoring;
  • Familiarity with mechanical and electrical systems in industrial buildings and services;
  • Proficiency in project management across all phases (preparation, programming, graphic interface, commissioning, documentation);
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and Power BI.

Languages: Fluent in English (spoken and written).

Working Style and Methods:

  • Highly methodical, organized, and proactive;
  • Ability to work autonomously while fostering teamwork;
  • Availability to travel.

Personality:

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
  • Coaching mindset for team development.
  • Eager to learn and adapt to new challenges.
