Reporting to the Director of Brand Marketing for Firehouse Subs, this individual will play a key role in driving the creative vision and brand strategy. 

The Advertising Sr. Manager will be an integral part of the Brand Communications team working closely with all Marketing teams: Category, Analytics, Digital and Legal, creative agencies, and PR. This individual is responsible for managing and enforcing the brand across multiple media channels, overseeing the creative deliverables on a daily internal and external process. As part of this role, creative skills and measurement mindset will work together. We want someone with a can-do attitude that will recommend a well-done craft and a cohesive language, preserving the brand tone of voice consistently while respecting the touch point nature, making sure we have the best-in-class experience related for each communications channel. This person will oversee brand campaigns, briefing agencies against business objectives, producing advertising content, managing all paid consumer facing workstream, reviewing analytics, and communicating with key stakeholders in the company.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Oversee Firehouse Subs communications strategies and advertising executions, leading 360 Communication’s plans. 
  • Plan, implement, and manage a comprehensive advertising and marketing program for Firehouse Subs 
  • Create and maintain strong relationships with creative agencies, media outlets, and industry partners to generate brand awareness, and new traffic to stores, building relevant and engaging consumer facing communications’ plans. 
  • Proactively identify and leverage opportunities for brand partnerships, collaborations, media opportunities and sponsorships to enhance brand visibility and reach. 
  • Manage, protect, and champion the brand voice in multiple media channels, including but not limited to Linear TV, CTV, Radio, OOH, Digital, Social Media, Influencers programs, etc. 
  • Drive cohesive, well-rounded campaigns, promoting products launches. 
  • Identify opportunities to grow the audience and improve brand awareness. 
  • Analyze engagement data, identifying trends in consumers interactions. 
  • Collaborate with agency and internal teams to ensure a high-quality deliverable. 
  • Serve as subject matter expert, advisor, and brand liaison for branded items. 
  • Monitor Competitive Landscape, keep up with the latest trends and pop culture, look into industry benchmarks on communication and consistently share findings with the Marketing team, providing recommendations as needed. 
  • Craft compelling narratives for agency creative briefing for any new launches/activations. 
  • May manage 1-2 direct reports 
  • Develop executive-level presentations to drive alignment of strategic initiatives for one or more brand pillars, building clear and concise business and consumer cases. 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • 5-7+ years in-house or agency brand experience (or relevant work experience) 
  • Demonstrated knowledge of branding and marketing principles 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Proven robust project management skills and cross-functional leadership 
  • Strong conceptual abilities and abilities to originate solutions on-time and on budget 
  • Craft oriented with a business background 
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in team environments
