Reporting to the Director of Brand Image for Firehouse Subs, this individual will play a key role in executing our brand’s visual identity and ensuring our distinctive brand assets are consistently brought to life as we work to modernize our brand image for a digital first future.

The Manager, Merchandising Execution will be an integral part of the Brand Image team working closely with all Marketing and Operations teams including Category, Analytics, Digital, Training, Packaging and Supply Chain. This individual is responsible for the coordination and execution of merchandising strategies across multiple on-premise channels, supporting US field marketing managers to improve the in store experience, and deploying merchandising kits, packaging, and uniforms design in partnership with our creative agencies. We are seeking a passionate self-starter that will be responsible for ensuring the visual representation of our products aligns with our brand standards and sales objectives, with a strong attention to detail and commitment to process improvement.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Manage the execution of merchandising and menu signage in stores, ensuring that all locations are equipped with the necessary materials, instructions, and support to implement both national and market test merchandising plans effectively and on schedule.
  • Collaborate with agencies, print vendors and internal teams to ensure the on time and on budget delivery of merchandising and packaging projects in restaurant.
  • Partner with field marketing teams to ensure integration and alignment of local and national marketing campaigns.
  • Serve as subject matter expert, advisor and brand liaison for branded items. Ensure that the brand identity is consistent across all touch points.
  • Help create and maintain brand guidelines in collaboration with agencies and collaborate with other members of the Brand team to ensure that all employees, channels and external parties are brand compliant with brand standards.
  • Develop, manage, and report on the merchandising budget, guaranteeing resource efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders by demonstrating marketing leadership, promoting collaboration, fostering a team environment and promoting the best-in-class guest journey.
  • Provide resolution and track all launch issues/events along with follow ups on progress, resolution and learnings, taking corrective actions to ensure process improvement
  • Strong ability to work with internally with RSC-based teams, with the FHS Field Marketing team, and with Franchisees and the restaurants
  • Monitor Competitive Landscape, consistently share findings with team and provide recommendations as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration,
  • 4+ years of experience in Marketing, preferably with retail or CPG merchandising execution experience (or relevant work experience)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of global branding and marketing principles
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including strong presentation design and delivery.
  • Proven robust project management skills and cross-functional leadership.
  • Knowledge of print and merchandising design
  • A good grasp on typography, color, shape, design, and animation
  • Strong conceptual abilities and ability to originate solutions on-time and on budget
  • Craft oriented with a business background.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in team environments.
