Maine Behavioral Healthcare is seeking a Manager of Social Services and Discharge Planning (LCSW, LCPC, or Ph.D.) to join and provide leadership to our passionate and dedicated care team at Spring Harbor Hospital! The Manager of Social Services and Discharge Planning will maintain primary accountability for the management and delivery of safe and effective patient care and for the day-to-day functions of the Spring Harbor Hospital Child/Adolescent/Developmental Disorders (DD) Social Services and Discharge Planning team.
Set on 50 private acres, MaineHealth Behavioral Health at Spring Harbor is southern Maine's only private psychiatric treatment and recovery center. Our inpatient programs for children, adolescents, adults, and older adults provide hope for those who suffer from a variety of mental illnesses and co-occurring disorders (mental illness and substance use), as well as, Maine's only hospital treatment unit for youth who experience both mental illness and a developmental disorder, such as autism.
We are fortunate to have a unique collaboration with MaineHealth Maine Medical Center, which allows us to offer the most complete array of psychiatric treatment, physician-training, and medical-research programs north of Boston.
The Manager shares the leadership of the service and is responsible for standardizing the operating procedures and coordinating the delivery of social services within MaineHealth’s Spring Harbor Hospital Child/Adolescent/DD Social Services and Discharge Planning department.
