As a Software Engineer at Automox you will:

• Research, design, develop, and own solutions that provide feature-rich experiences in the Automox platform that runs on over 1 million endpoints globally across all three major operating systems (Windows, Mac, Linux).
• Lead by example by championing software development best practices, and writing well-designed code.
• Extend, enhance, and evolve our endpoint software to enable delivery of new platform and client-side features.
• Contribute to continual improvement by testing, performance tuning, refactoring, usability improvements, and automation.
• Produce detailed specifications, and contribute in all phases of the engineering lifecycle.
• Operate with a quality-first mindset. Your approach to testing sets you apart from your peers.
• Make data-driven decisions. You understand the impact of your development before it reaches production.

About you:

• Programming experience in Golang is recommended. That being said, the right candidate will leverage their extensive engineering background to be impactful in any language.
• 2+ years of experience designing, developing, testing, monitoring, and maintaining cloud-connected client-side applications.
• Experience working as a Software Engineer developing content and content delivery applications leveraged by SaaS platforms and Agent/IoT software.
• Strong familiarity with systems programming, networking, virtual machine orchestration, DevOps, and shell-scripting languages (Bash/Powershell) 
• Windows and/or Linux and/or MacOS application development experience.
• Excellent communicator, thrives within a tightly knit, cross-functional remote team environment.

Compensation:

$134,000 - $160,000 a year

COMPENSATION

The base range above is part of a rich total compensation package that includes bonus, stock options and benefits. Actual earnings may be less or more depending on a candidate's direct experience, skills, industry knowledge, and location.
