JOB SUMMARY
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work with Maintenance Manager and/or Facility Manager to establish a program to eliminate downtime in trouble areas
- Repair production equipment safely and as quickly as possible after a breakdown
- Work on assigned projects
- Fabricate and install new equipment
- Maintain machinery according to Preventative Maintenance Program
- Troubleshoot equipment
- Utilize safe work habits
- Wear appropriate PPE
- Comply with all NOV Company policies, guidelines and procedures
- Comply with all HSE policies, guidelines and procedures
- Comply with all Quality policies, guidelines and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
- Five years experience in one or more of the following trades: Millwright, Building Maintenance, Machinist, Electrical/Electronic, Hydraulic and Pneumatic, or;
- Possess an electrical or plumbing license and one year experience, or;
- Have a degree in electronics or mechanical engineering and two years experience
- High School diploma or equivalent
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to work overtime and shift work as required
- Standing up to 12 hours daily
- Walking up to 12 hours daily
- Bending/Stooping up to 12 hours daily
- Repetitive Movement (shoveling/sweeping/fastening) up to 12 hours daily
- Lifting weights up to 50 lbs. regularly
- Push/Pull up to 12 hours daily
