JOB SUMMARY

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with Maintenance Manager and/or Facility Manager to establish a program to eliminate downtime in trouble areas
  • Repair production equipment safely and as quickly as possible after a breakdown
  • Work on assigned projects
  • Fabricate and install new equipment
  • Maintain machinery according to Preventative Maintenance Program
  • Troubleshoot equipment
  • Utilize safe work habits
  • Wear appropriate PPE
  • Comply with all NOV Company policies, guidelines and procedures
  • Comply with all HSE policies, guidelines and procedures
  • Comply with all Quality policies, guidelines and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

  • Five years experience in one or more of the following trades: Millwright, Building Maintenance, Machinist, Electrical/Electronic, Hydraulic and Pneumatic, or;
  • Possess an electrical or plumbing license and one year experience, or;
  • Have a degree in electronics or mechanical engineering and two years experience
  • High School diploma or equivalent

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to work overtime and shift work as required
  • Standing up to 12 hours daily
  • Walking up to 12 hours daily
  • Bending/Stooping up to 12 hours daily
  • Repetitive Movement (shoveling/sweeping/fastening) up to 12 hours daily
  • Lifting weights up to 50 lbs. regularly
  • Push/Pull up to 12 hours daily
