Soni Resources' client is seeking a C++ Developer to join their team in the Philadelphia area!
Responsibilities:
- Make an impact on a successful desk working directly with traders.
- Propose new ideas or gather requirements for additional functionality, both of which are brought into production quickly through our short development cycles.
- Propose and investigate new technologies to help us stay ahead.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, or foreign equivalent.
- Over 5 years of experience in software application development or high-frequency trading (HFT) infrastructure.
- Proficient in object-oriented design and software development using C++ in a high-performance, high-throughput environment (preferably Linux).
- Strong attention to detail, with expertise in full life-cycle development and performance optimization/latency reduction; able to collaborate effectively with software developers, traders, quants, and infrastructure teams.
Compensation: $170,000-200,000 a year
Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
Schedule: 5 days a week onsite, 9 hour shift
