The Biomedical Engineering and Biology & Biotechnology departments are housed in the Life Sciences and Bioengineering Center, along with biochemistry and biophysics research labs, providing an exciting “critical mass” for interdisciplinary projects. WPI researcher collaborate extensively with the University of Massachusetts Medical School clinicians and biomedical departments such as Cell and Molecular Biology.
Applicants should have an earned a Ph.D. in biomedical engineering, biophysics or a closely related field. Experience with cell culture, image analysis, computational techniques, MATLAB or other programming language, is preferred.
