Job Description
In this role, you are responsible for the independent planning and implementation of process optimizations to increase the capacity and efficiency of systems, as well as processing service orders internally and in the international plants.
- Analysis of process rejects, machine downtimes and product defects including the derivation of concrete optimization measures with regard to the causes
- Preparation of detailed test planning and test execution
- Carrying out tests to shorten cycle times, improve functions, process and quality optimization
- Creation of test plans and reports as part of process optimizations, as well as feasibility studies or changes including creation of technical documents
- Active support of the plants in process optimizations of systems
- Close cooperation with specialist departments for analyses and solution finding for service projects
- Training and production support for our production plants
- Creation of work and assembly reports
Qualifications
- Completed technical university degree (e.g. in mechanical engineering, materials engineering, medical technology) and at least 5 years of professional experience in a comparable field of responsibility
- In-depth knowledge in the areas of manufacturing processes and automation technology
- Knowledge of glass forming processes and composite techniques (e.g. gluing or welding) is an advantage
- Very good knowledge of statistical test planning and the interpretation of test results Independent and quality-conscious way of working as well as high team and communication skills
- Confident handling of common IT systems (MS Office, statistical software, such as Minitab)
- Strong willingness to travel as part of service assignments at our German and international plants
- Very good English skills, knowledge of German is advantage
