Endpoint Design Engineer (Intune)
Location: Dallas, TX 75201
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems or equivalent education or experience.
- 5+ years of experience in a corporate Windows environment with thorough understanding of Windows desktop operating systems
- Experience administering a complex enterprise systems management PC environment in a moderate-to-large sized company (i.e. greater than 10,000 seats) is preferable.
- Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) or Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD) certification is preferred.
- Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10, 11 operating systems.
- Experience with Intune Administration, Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), Windows Autopilot
- Experience with desktop (Azure, VMWare, Hyper-V), and other user state virtualization products.
- Knowledge of PowerShell desired.
- Expertise with Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) practices for IT service management.
- Experience with formal Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Ability to develop strong relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage time to meet assigned deliverable deadlines.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and individually.
- Ability to quickly absorb new technical information and effectively apply it.
- Understanding of, and ability to apply, basic inspection and testing techniques, and corrective and preventive actions, including root cause analysis.
- Demonstrates creativity and innovation in applying IT solutions for the benefit of the user community.
- Demonstrated analytical and systematic approach to problem solving.
- Communicate effectively, formally and informally, with colleagues and customers.
- Work Hours and Conditions: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday; On-call for management support of production operation issues; Overtime as required by project schedules or management.

Responsibilities:
- Leads the selection, development, implementation and use of Windows desktop technologies within the enterprise.
- Defines and conducts research, analysis, and proof of concept testing in the desktop computing space and collaboration hardware.
- Drives solutions to business and technology challenges for desktop computing and recommends software and hardware products and back-office technologies to address those challenges.
- Identifies and leads development of designs best-of-breed desktop technologies to meet evolving business requirements.
- Demonstrates aptitude and interest in technical skills by guiding the implementation of tactical solutions to meet the business requirements.
- Maintains expertise and knowledge of current and emerging technologies and products.
- Develops desktop computing technology standards.
- Champion the desktop computing strategy to technical staff, management, stakeholders and senior business leaders.
- Determines tools required to conduct necessary proof of concept testing and evaluation.
- Develops conceptual designs, high-level designs and detailed designs and documentation including processes and procedures.
- Supports the implementation and certification of designs and solutions.
