Solution Architect

Daily Responsibilities/Job Description:
- Work with business and IT stakeholders to create detailed current state view of applications and architecture or validate current understanding of current state
- Work with domain solution architects, technology SMEs, business partners to recommend solutions and solution options.
- Create and present appropriate artifacts (solution architecture, solution options)
- Potentially assist in stand-up or delivery of solution
Qualifications/years of experience:
10+ years of work experience in IT, including 6 years in software development and application architecture.
Technology Requirements:
15. Cloud Architecture – AWS, GCP. Ideally more than one. GCP data a plus.
16. Agile Architecture, SAFe
17. Event Driven Architecture
18. Microservice Architecture and Practices (Nice to have, not required)
19. Security Principles & Implementations
20. APIs (REST/SOAP/GraphQL/WSO2)
21. Modern Web Development: Java, Angular, React, CICD (Jenkins), Test Driven Development
22. Databases: Relational, NoSQL DocumentDB, NoSQL Graph, GCP
23. Docker and Kubernetes, RabbitMQ, Kafka
24. VMWare Tanzu / Pivotal Cloud Foundry
Soft/Additional Skills:
- Strong collaborator with business and technical colleagues, adept at building rapport. Can communicate with multiple levels, including senior leadership and technical.
- Able to rationalize current company solution patterns and reasonable industry best practices to recommend solutions and options.
- Highly self motivated; able to traverse complex corporate organizations to find answers
- . Experience in PBM and/or Specialty pharmacies
