Experience needed:
10+ years for RPG side, but 3+ years for Java side
Must Have:
1. AS400/iSeries - RPGLE, SQLRPLGE, Stored Procedures, Service Programs, CL, CLLE, and DB400
2. Spring Development (Spring Data, Spring Cloud Stream, Boot, etc.)
3. Java
4. Data Streaming (e.g. Kafka/RabbitMQ)
5. Relational Database (e.g. Postgres)
6. GitHub, including actions and workflows
Additional Requirements:
1. Agile/SAFe experience with related productivity tools (Jira, Confluence, etc.)
2. Excellent communication skills (e.g. facilitation, presentation, written, verbal)
3. Experience in building and deploying cloud native applications
Work Schedule: M-F, 8-5, overtime only due to issues/on-call, on-call only for emergencies
Specific project they are working on:
Support of current application/processes, as well as working on converting existing applications to Java platform
Great candidate qualities/what would make someone stand out:
Someone who has worked on projects that involved moving applications from AS400/iSeries to Java Platform.
