What are you going to do? 

  • Develop and Execute Strategy: Formulate and manage an international sales excellence strategy.
  • Promote and train desired commercial behavior and standard global approach
  • CRM Optimization: Continuously facilitate and improve our Microsoft Dynamics CRM to streamline account management and lead management 
  • Collaborative Support: Partner with Sales Managers across countries to support local businesses with data-driven insights, enhancing CRM use and account manager adoption.
  • Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor KPIs, performance metrics, and dashboards to evaluate and improve sales activities, presenting findings to users and reporting progress to management.
  • Customer experience: Lead customer experience program to ensure loyal and satisfied customers together with the commercial organization and the marketing teams.
  • Customer orientation: Develop a customer orientation/service excellence culture amongst employees
  • Project Leadership: Lead initiatives to refine sales processes and implement new tools and systems that drive sales excellence.
  • Stakeholder Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal customers and stakeholders to meet sales targets and boost customer satisfaction.

Where are you going to work?

As Sales Excellence Manager, you will work in a self-managing and independent position where analysis and advice are central. You will do this from our office in Roermond, but with a strong international character. Within this position, you will report to the Finance Director and although you will have a self-regulatory role, there are always colleagues nearby who are willing to brainstorm and support where necessary.

Although the Dutch horticulture sector occupies a prominent position in the world, it is a position with an international scope. You have to deal with a diverse range of stakeholders such as growers, governments, EU institutions and the end consumer who demand eco-friendly products.

What do we ask? 

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Data Analytics or a related field;
  • At least 5 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in an international environment;
  • Excellent analytical skills and experience with Advanced Microsoft Dynamics (CRM), Sharepoint and SAP-SD;
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, both oral and written, in English and Dutch and preferably in other languages;
  • Results-oriented, proactive and able to perform under pressure in a dynamic environment.

A one-year contract which will be converted to a permanent contract on good performance.
