About the role:

As a HVAC Lab Technician, you will performs basic technical tasks which contribute to the planning and execution of engineering projects, provides technical support to engineers on a variety of engineering tasks, assisting higher level support staff to confer with engineers on details and implications of test procedures and results.

Key Responsibilities:

As the HVAC Lab Technician, you'll be responsible for:

• Works under direct supervision to provide technical support to engineers on a variety of engineering tasks.
• Performs basic technical tasks which contribute to the planning and execution of engineering projects.
• Prepares charts, graphs, or diagrams to illustrate workflow, routing, floor layouts, material handling, or machine utilization.
• Maintains test setups and equipment.
• Conducts basic materials test and analysis.
• Assists higher level support staff to confer with engineers on details and implications of test procedures and results.
• Lab management to ensure EH&S guidelines, 5S in lab area, Lab & Equipment calibration, Test prioritization and customer witness test etc.
• Prototype Building, Unit set up in lab & testing of units as per applicable standard. (AHRI/Eurovent)
• Test data collection, analysis of test results and communicate effectively to test engineer.

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma/ Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or Refrigeration & Air conditioning) with 5 years of experience in testing of HVAC Products.
• Must have relevant experience in Lab management & testing of HVAC equipments, air-condition cycle design/optimization.
• Has understanding of basic HVAC system, Air Handling Unit, Fan coil Units & light commercial products
• Has hands on experience in dealing with refrigerant charging, vacuuming, wiring, brazing and sheet metal components.
• Knowledge for Chilled water & DX units (residential/light commercial products) cycle design/balancing
• Possess working knowledge of MS Office
• Open to 1 year contractual role
