Job Description

  • Drive the organization for results in key financials including but not limited to profit, working capital, cash flow, sales, and cost management
  • Profit & loss responsibility for IAM NA (together with the Head of IAM NA)
  • Coach and mentor the local controlling team in Allentown as well as the Allentown plant and warehouse locations
  • Collaborate and work with global IAM colleagues and management team
  • Create and approve the annual North America IAM budget and assure it’s accuracy while safeguarding, together with the Head of IAM NA, its achievement
  • Support IAM logistics teams in identifying and implementing cost optimization opportunities 
  • Develop and approve business cases along with Head of NA IAM , Sales & Product Management and Global IAM Management
  • Evaluate and review the NA customer profitability (CuPA)
  • Continuously review and improve the financial NA business strategy
  • Oversee all financial reporting for the North America IAM business
  • Assure honest and open communication between peers, subordinates and management
  • Promote a quality mindset in work product as well as business processes and actions to assure quality is of the highest priority
  • Instill integrity and ownership in the local team and extended location colleagues
  • Lead the IAM forecasting for reliable bi-monthly trends, monthly forecasts and all related projections of financials
  • Assure Signature Authority and other approval levels follow company policy
  • Review and approve quote and pricing proposals (including legal aspects)
  • Review and work with local IAM location for month end closing and regular reviews
  • Format and present regional financial key figures monthly and as otherwise needed

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. Business Administration or equivalent
  • 7 years’ experience within a Financial function 
  • Ability to read, write, and speak fluently in English
  • Presentation Abilities - Demonstrated ability to present findings to Management 
  • Experience leading multi-functional teams
  • Knowledge of Company financial Systems such as SAP and related applications in compliance w Financial reporting manual and accounting practices.
  • Business Acumen including Approval of Customer Price levels, and strategically identifying quotation leverage for Sales Colleagues
  • Provide Leadership and Integrity as the financial and compliance voice in the region for the IAM business 
  • Knowledge of SAP, FIRE, CEOS, eSR, Microsoft-All products, E-sign, Power BI.
