The Extended Platform Development Team is part of the Technology Center Tires in Hanover Stöcken and belongs to the Technology, Platform Development and Product Industrialization Truck & Bus department. We specialize in technology development for commercial vehicles tires, including the biggest tires in the Continental portfolio. We develop new casings and technologies for new applications or new requirements.

In the role of a Technology Development Engineer Commercial Vehicle Tires (m/f/d) your responsibility will be:

• Development of tire technologies for big radial & industrial tires as well as Truck & Bus tires to meet performance requirements
• Integrating of achieved know-how and released Technologies into design rules & guidelines
• Verification of conformity of product releases according to existing design guides
• Leading and participating in challenging technology projects within the R&D organization and across locations
• Expansion of related know-how and its active exchange within global R&D Locations and across departments

Qualifications

• Academic degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Natural Science or similar
• Multiple years of professional experience, preferably in technology or product development
• Very good project management skills, experience in an international environmental is beneficial
• Ability to work on items on research level
• Very good English language skills (written and spoken)
• Analytical, structured and self-dependent work style
• Strong customer and result orientation, proactive and ability to work in a team
• Open and clear communication
