JOB OVERVIEW

The Operations Associate III, Trust Accounting processes client requests accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with documented processes and procedures. In this role, you will provide exceptional service to our clients via phone and email and maintain proper documentation. You will often process and review high volumes of standard tasks and transactions.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

  • Research client account information to ensure accurate processing
  • Handle incoming and outgoing client correspondence in a timely and efficient manner
  • Index information into company systems based on set parameters for the incoming or outgoing request
  • Assist other members of the department in daily roles
  • Assist the department team lead and supervisor with resolving client issues, conducting research, and responding to colleagues’ requests
  • Create new processing actions from the scanning and indexing of physical and electronic documents
  • Prioritize document requests that are expedited or otherwise urgent to meet client investment needs
  • Scan images/documents for new processing requests and store documents in client account records
  • Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • HS diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in the retirement and/or financial industries preferred

PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATIONS

  • None required

TECHNICAL SKILLS

To be successful in this role, you should have experience with and an understanding of the following:

  • Basic-level proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of applications
  • Intermediate 10-key skills
  • Ability to type 45+ words per minute (WPM) preferred

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT

This job operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment. While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to speak and hear. The associate is frequently required to sit for extended periods of time, as well as stand, walk, use hands and fingers, and reach with hands and arms. This job requires the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets, and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.
