Your role
Under the responsibility of a senior editor, you will be responsible for covering general news in the Ottawa and Gatineau region.
You have lots of ideas on how to tell stories in an original way. You know how to write, edit and format digital news content, and you enjoy feeling the pressure that comes with covering breaking news.
You have a good knowledge of the National Capital Region, you are sensitive to the issues that affect people, you understand the socio-economic dynamics of both sides of the Ottawa River and you understand the importance of the public service in the region.
You like working collaboratively and innovating, and you have an interest in producing content intended for other Radio-Canada platforms.
The work is governed by Radio-Canada's journalism and programming policies, standards and practices.
Please note that this position is full-time Monday to Friday on site on a regular schedule from 12:15 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The chosen person may be required to work overtime and the schedule may be subject to change depending on operational needs.
