In the digital transformation, the intersection of product information and UX is more relevant than ever. Nasdaq Technology is therefore looking for a Product Information Developer & Designer who is passionate about producing content for modern, online users and developing design for a great user experience. 

This is a combined information developer and user experience (UX) designer role in our Vilnius office. 

About the role:

As a Product Information Developer, you see yourself as the glue between the product teams and the end-users, and you enjoy the challenge of creating excellent product information based on complex technical requirements. As a Product Information Designer, you understand and value the connection between Technical Writing and UX design, and you identify key design functions that will increase the usage and value of product information to make Nasdaq Help Centers a great self-service tool for Market Operators. In short, you are an excellent technical writer and creative designer who understands users’ needs for information and services. 

You will be joining a team of Product Information Developers that creates product information for our financial software products and makes it available in the Help Center. The team owns and leads the digitalization of product information and works closely with our product teams around the world. 

What you will be doing:

• Produce or update content for business or technical users that helps them to perform their work tasks
• Create a content design that optimizes findability, learnability, and usability
• Create user interface design, such as wireframes and mockups, to create the visual elements of the Help Center UI
• Develop Information architecture (IA) that makes it easy for users to find the information they’re looking for and to know what to do next
• Stay up to date on developments and trends within digital design and share your knowledge with the team

What we expect:

• An engineering degree and a keen interest in communication. An interaction design degree is a plus
• Experience as a technical writer / UX writer/product designer
• Excellent written and spoken English and the ability to explain complex technologies in a useful, concise way
• Basic knowledge of web development, such as JavaScript, CSS, and HTML 
• A strong inner drive and eagerness to learn
• Ability to juggle multiple roles and push initiatives forward in a fast-paced environment
• Great social skills and a team player mindset

It would be great if you also have (Opportunity to learn):

• Experience working in an agile environment 
• Proficiency in Figma or equivalent prototyping tools 
• An understanding of the financial market
