The Crown Is Yours

DraftKings is growing quickly and we’re looking for a Lead Software Engineer for our Casino Mobile team. This team is responsible for various types of Casino games including Blackjack, Roulette, Baccarat, Slots, Live Dealers and more! You will be responsible for delivering key features and working on bugs. This position requires strong technical skills and a bias toward collaboration. You will be working across teams, informing business decisions, and helping to expand our best-in-class Casino product. 

What you’ll do as a Lead Software Engineer, Mobile

  • You will be working on a squad with other mobile engineers that are dedicated to the Casino domain and responsible for displaying various types of Casino games, showing the right promotions and different casino features to the users
  • You will be developing new features, iterating on the current systems, and maintaining our high code quality
  • You will work with design and product managers to review UI/UX to make the best product for our Casino users
  • You will collaborate with other engineers on your team to code review, functional test and release iOS and Android builds

What you’ll bring 

  • Experience in mobile development, specifically Android (Kotlin)
  • Some industry experience with iOS (Swift) a plus
  • Strong knowledge of native operating system capabilities, app signing and deployment processes, and consumer app best practices
  • Experience writing and maintaining a comprehensive suite of automated unit and integration tests
  • Working knowledge of how apps communicate with backend services.
  • The desire to grow other engineers through code reviews, mentorship, design reviews, and over-the-shoulder debugging
