The Systems and Applications (S&A) department of the Product Line "In-Vehicle Networking" (PL-IVN) forms the interface between research and development of innovative architectures and system technologies in the field of vehicle networking. Responsibilities:

  • Support the enhancement of a simulation environment for Ethernet PoDL investigations
  • Perform simulations and support in result evaluation
  • Support in setting up a demonstrator in the lab (HW + SW) and conduct measurements
  • Compare simulation and measurement results to improve simulation environment

Profile:

  • Enrolled student in Communications Engineering, Electrical Engineering or similar
  • Good programming skills in MATLAB or Python and VHDL-AMS
  • Basic understanding of 10BASE-T1S Ethernet PHYs
  • Knowledge in embedded programming and PCB design is a plus
  • First experience in circuit simulations is a plus
  • Team player, pro-active and able to work independently

Working hours: part-time (approx. 16-18hrs/week)

Job location: Hamburg, on site
