General Description 

  • Full accountability for leading our Corporate Agency organization and delivering a growth strategy within the UK & Irish market. 
  • This highly recognized position is responsible for: 
  • Individual and team annual sales and account management goals. 
  • Drive changes to the commercial model and generate new revenue streams. 
  • Deliver sustainable profit as well as market share growth specifically in the TMC & corporate Market 
  • Direct a team of professionals and promote the development and implementation of designated sales initiatives and client business plans. 
  • Responsible for developing and nurturing multiple key customer relationships in a complex client environment. (BtoB / Large accounts / BtoBtoC) 
  • Responsible for delivering world class products and services through profitable renewal, conversion and new business development. 
  • Maintain and develop a network of strategic partners to ensure the best market penetration. 
  • Manage and coach the performance of a cross functional team of consultants, individual contributors and salespeople internally and externally connected to Sabre. 
  • Maintain a high level of customer involvement and for establishing Sabre as the global leader in this segment. 
  • Define and lead new segment strategies and prioritize commercial and marketing activities accordingly. 
  • Maintain a highly visible presence in the Corporate UK & Irish market and within Sabre by actively driving the sales activities, industry engagements and developing best practices. 

Job requirements: 

  • 10 years related experience preferred in the travel / Technology industry or SaaS technology companies with focus on strategic customers. 
  • Strong background in the UK & Ireland TMC or Corporate space. A previous experience selling to TMCs in the region is a plus. 
  • Strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen. 
  • Extensive understanding of the UK and Irish Corporate & TMC market landscape including competitive information, key trends (including NDC), opportunities, and threats. 
  • Strong organizational and proven leadership abilities. 
  • Proven ability of influencing cross-functional teams within a matrix organization. 
  • Strong internal and external customer relationship-building and negotiation skills. 
  • Extensive people management experience with the ability to motivate and lead through change. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to lead and direct multiple projects simultaneously; ability to delegate work to team members.
