The team you would join
You would join the Asia Marketing Team (though looking after a global portfolio as Global e-commerce is managed from Asia), headed by Asia Marketing Lead. We are a team of brand managers, digital marketers, trade marketers. This team uses their expertise to navigate complex and ever-evolving market scenarios to develop marketing-led innovations to power access to brighter lives. The team works on building the brand across areas that we have a presence in. Few examples of our work include rural marketing, POSM innovation, In-Store branding, GTM strategy for new product launches, Product packaging, Market Research, thought leadership positioning, e-commerce etc.
About the role:
The Ecommerce Marketing Intern at Sun King will be responsible for global e-commerce sales management, including platforms in the USA, Kenya, Nigeria, Uganda, Myanmar, and India (additional markets may be added in the future). We are looking for an enterprising, self-motivated person who is excited about the opportunity to work on building a high-impact, socially focused brand. An understanding of and passion for e-commerce would be a plus. A go-getter who is a fast learner and takes ownership and accountability would be a great fit. You would be joining a lean Global E-Commerce team that manages sales in Africa and Asia. Reporting would be to Digital Marketing Manager - E Commerce (Global)
Internship Duration: 8 - 9 Months
What you will be expected to do:
- Follow-ups with e-commerce Platform POCs for discussions initiated by Global e-Commerce Manager
- Ideate, create, and float creative briefs for e-commerce content to the design team. Ensure the approved content is then uploaded to the platforms.
- Collate content for all products on Official Drive (easy to share for listings on newly acquired platforms)
- Timely tweaks in content and strategies on all platforms.
- Maintain healthy and cordial relationships with Platforms POCs across platforms.
- Keep timely track of and report on Free + Paid-for visibilities on platforms (excluding CPC campaigns that we run daily on the platforms)
- Generate weekly/monthly/quarterly/half-yearly/annual reports for review and decision-making on all Global e-commerce platforms.
Daily Checks on –
- Inventory: Ensure at least 2 weeks inventory are available for BAU days and 1 month for event days
- Sales: daily recording of sales and raising the flag if required.
- Prices: Daily check on prices on the platform to ensure products are sold at correct price
- B2B Lead Generation Portals: Call Audits, CC Agent Management and Feedback, Trade India Lead purchasing and pass on to CC Team, reporting.
Qualifications:
- Possessing one year of experience or currently pursuing a degree/diploma in e-commerce Marketing.
- Demonstrate organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, a process-oriented mindset, and a proficiency with numbers.
- Exhibit proactive and self-motivated qualities.
- Possess robust project management abilities, capable of handling multiple projects concurrently.
- Display proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Good Communication to coordinate with teams across the globe.
- Can work with minimal supervision
