Position Overview: We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our client's finance team in a direct hire capacity. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to financial reporting, GL accounting, and process improvement initiatives within a dynamic and growth-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including Income Statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow Statements.
• Maintain strong GL accounting practices in accordance with US GAAP, focusing on prepaids, accruals, fixed assets, and tax accounting.
• Perform detailed reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to support financial reporting requirements and process enhancements.
• Utilize advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs, for financial analysis and reporting.
• Familiarity with large ERPs and/or construction software to optimize financial processes and data management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of financial reporting experience.
• Strong GL accounting skills with expertise in US GAAP principles.
• Proven experience in reconciliations and financial analysis.
• Proficiency in Excel (pivots, VLOOKUPs); macro experience is a plus.
• Experience with large ERPs and/or construction software.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a desire for continuous learning and professional growth.
• Onsite daily.
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Background in the construction industry strongly preferred, or manufacturing
• Familiarity with COINS Construction Software.
• International finance or accounting experience is a plus.
• CPA certification or intent to obtain CPA.
