Team Overview:

The Yukon team builds and delivers Impinj IC reader products. As an intern on the Yukon Software Test and Quality team you’ll be given the opportunity to work with software developers, chip designers, hardware engineers, communication systems engineers and others. 

You’ll be working to improve the reports that our CI system generates. It’s currently missing some key metrics and suffers with readability issues. All Yukon staff rely on this data to monitor our product quality. 

What you will Do:

  • Dive in and understand the existing CI system: the results reporting and the tooling used to build, extend and maintain it.
  • Work with representatives from the entire Yukon team to gather and prioritize requirements.
  • Research and choose the best way to collect and display the new reporting metrics
  • Collaborate with team members on a design
  • Implement the feature(s), submitting to source control work in stages
  • Work in an agile environment tracking your work in stories and epics.

  • Ability to collaborate and communicate with teammates, cross group teammates and end users,
  • Some or all of these skills: shell scripting, python, familiarity with REST api frameworks, familiarity with CI system like Github, familiarity with UI and markup languages like: javascript and markdown, experience working with databases
