Role Overview

ID.me is seeking a Senior Master Data Management (MDM) Analyst to provide technical leadership in our master data management capabilities. As a data-driven organization, we are continually striving to enhance our capabilities and member experience through insightful data governance and management. In this role, you will partner with business leaders to define and uphold data quality, develop data architecture tailored to MDM, and contribute to the democratization of data through effective data models, metrics definition, and metadata documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the management and governance of master data across various domains, utilizing platforms like Snowflake, dbt, Tableau, Looker, and GCP services.
  • Educate the organization on best practices in data governance and MDM strategies to drive informed business decisions.
  • Research, design, and implement best practices in managing master data platforms and ensuring data quality.
  • Collaborate with data analysts, engineers, and scientists to build a robust data infrastructure that supports reusable data management, analytics, dashboards, and models in an MDM context.
  • Drive transformational efforts to establish a data-driven culture at ID.me by enabling data self-service and high-quality master data systems.
  • Provide technical guidance, mentorship, coaching, and training to data analysts and other team members on MDM principles and practices.

Ideal Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in Data Management with a strong emphasis on Master Data Management and SQL.
  • 7+ years of experience with data warehousing technologies (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift), with a focus on master data structures.
  • 2+ years of experience with MDM tools, dbt, Python, and Git.
  • 3+ years of experience in data modeling, particularly in a master data context.
  • Knowledge of data privacy laws and compliance regulations.
  • Familiarity with data architecture, design, and CI/CD frameworks.
  • Experience with visualization/reporting tools like Tableau, Looker, Power BI, with an understanding of how they integrate with MDM strategies.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Experience in ingesting, processing, and visualizing various data types – structured/relational and unstructured, in an MDM environment.
  • Ability to work independently and autonomously, as well as part of a team.
  • Superb time management, prioritization of tasks, and ability to meet deadlines with little supervision.

The annual base salary listed below for this role is based on experience, skills, education, relevant training and geographic location. Company bonus, incentive for sales roles, equity, and benefits are available depending on the role.

U.S. Pay Range

$150,000—$165,890 USD

Sunnyvale, CA Pay Range

$180,000—$199,068 USD
