about this team

The Marketing Analytics & BI team leads attribution approaches and measurement of the impact of marketing activities. We work closely with teams across the company to drive data driven optimization and campaign execution decisions to support overall lululemon goals. The environment is fast paced and agile to get things done quickly while putting guest experience first.

a day in the life: what you’ll do

The Senior Marketing Science Analyst will actively drive all steps in the data science process from importing and wrangling data; transforming, visualizing and modeling data; and finally deploying data insights to BI and marketing execution platforms.

  • Build datasets, produce emotive data visualizations and manage enterprise BI and reporting on marketing performance 
  • Identify and lead ad hoc analyses and randomized test vs. control on marketing channel performance across multiple outcomes to identify opportunities for improved marketing efficiency
  • Lead improvement of marketing attribution using tools such as online attribution, counter-factual analysis, marketing mix modeling and multi-touch attribution
  • Set consistent standards for forecasting and tracking marketing spend (marketing campaign taxonomy), execution and performance across multiple marketing channel teams and finance groups. 

qualifications

  • 3+ years experience in a data driven role
  • Proficient in communicating action-oriented results from complex data analysis
  • Strong in SQL programing with minimum 1 year practical experience
  • Strong understanding of statistical concepts and proficient in programing in a statistical language (R or Python)
  • Strong in data visualization tools like PowerBI

Compensation and Benefits Package 

lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is 123,500-$162,100 CAD annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program subject to program eligibility requirements.

workplace arrangement

This role is classified as Hybrid under our SSC Workplace Policy: In-person collaboration is important, and much of the role can be performed remotely. Work is performed onsite at least 3 days per week.
