Job Description

Associate/Junior QA Engineers engage in the identification, documentation, and remediation of defects within the production process as well as evaluate, design and implement automation frameworks with a solutions mindset focused on the customer. This is a learning role where one can display their growth mindset through growing their skillset and gaining experience via support, guidance and direction from more senior QA Engineers.

About the Role

Sphere of Influence:

  • Immediate QA/Software Development Engineer team
  • Engages with cross functional teams to execute
  • Trains and mentors more junior colleagues
  • Influences and articulates compelling QA solutions for customers and product(s)
  • Explains difficult concepts and influences others to adopt a point of view for ideas and initiatives

Delivery:

  • Advises middle management on functional matters, or on interpretation of policies and practices
  • Works with different project teams to ensure functional/regression test suite is up to date and remains relevant.
  • Brings up risks to QE Lead/Manager in a timely fashion and prepare for contingency
  • Adapts traditional approaches to solutions and applies in different circumstances
  • Exceptional attention to detail 
  • Responsible for functional testing, automating client application and qualification of the App review Tool and client side applications
  • Responsible for planning, designing, maintaining and executing test cases with minimal direction.
  • Automating the client side application and maintain as we keep adding new features.

  • Strong understanding of other roles within the function or Business Unit and how they are connected
  • Establishes and maintains ongoing relationships with key customers

  • Interacts and negotiates effectively with internal or external customers

  • May train or mentor professional colleagues
  • Leads routine projects with manageable risks and resource requirements
  • Provides subject matter expertise across sub-units
  • Great team player and able to work efficiently with minimal supervision 
  • Communicates effectively by adjusting communication style to audience

About You

  • Must have experience in analyzing the problem domain, developing, and executing test plans and test cases, and providing well documented feedback with clear steps.
  • Basic knowledge of .NET/C#, JavaScript & SQL
  • Should have knowledge on Agile & Devops.
  • Familiarity with Jira/TFS & Test Automation & Ensures consistent process compliance.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with all internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability of delivering on multiple projects, competing priorities with little supervision.
  • Ability to share ideas/innovation and discuss in team huddles
  • Passion for solving challenges & continuous improvement
  • Should have working experience on working on Test Management tool like JIRA.
